Monster Inc:
The technique which has been used for Monster Inc is digital application. The animation is made by Walt Disney. My evaluation of the animation / technique is the way the characters have been created. The way they the director uses the colours to represent the characters personality is a positive factor, the different location which the animation has been made produced in puts on a positive factor too and in some scenes they combine the location with the character's feeling too, for example when James does his scaring exam or when he's feeling frustrated or when the dragon comes down in a bad mood then the background turns or is dark to build awareness that the situation is serious. When the situation turns more positive then the background turns more brighter which is really good, it means that the audience will quickly start to realise where certain circumstances are good or bad. The negative aspect to this technique is that it can take a very long time which means that it will need a lot of patience, however any other animation takes a very long time.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2:
The technique which has been used for Spiderman is cel animation. The animation is made by Marvel. What I enjoy about the background is static and it enhances the characters, for example when it's night time and spiderman is swinging, this makes it more thrilling and mirrors the cartoon. The artistic is really well designed and it makes the audience appreciate it and appealed unlike the other spiderman which was terribly drawn which could put off individuals. What makes it more interesting is the audio with when a danger is about to appear, it interacts with the audience, and then a quick effect appears on the animation and the thriller audio which builds tension in the audience and thrills them and intrigues them more to continue watching in what will happen next. The fast paced movements really contribute to the audio too at some scenes. The negative aspect of Spiderman is as I've already mentioned above it can take long but also that the audio can sometimes be overwhelming in some scenes which makes it difficult to focus on the animation itself because you get drifted by the audio but that can be a positive and negative aspect.
Fantastic: Mr Fox:
The technique which has been used for Fantastic: Mr Fox is puppetry technique. The animation is made by Fox Animation. What makes it interesting is that even though the background may not have as much thrill as The Amazing Spiderman or Monster Inc the characters does contribute to the animation which makes it character driven because of the character's personality and their sassiness which makes it really exciting especially for the audience, it can make any individual laugh, furthermore the audio also makes up for the dull background because it makes it sound fast paced and combined with the circumstances it mirrors the character and appeals to the audience. The negative aspect of this animation is the dull background but also as I've already mentioned for the other two above, it does take a long time.
